proper planning and motivation you can achieve your goals in 2013.Step One: What and When
First thing we have to do is find out what it is that we want and when we want it. Many people set resolutions or goals for themselves that are either very lofty or they set too many. Setting one, maybe two, goals will help you stay on track and focused on what you want.
When we are talking about a time frame to complete our goals, we have to remember to keep it a reasonable amount of time. If your goal requires a significant amount of money to accomplish, you will need to allow yourself time to save those funds. If its weight you want to lose, slow and steady is better than fast. Allowing yourself plenty of time to accomplish your goals will also keep you from getting disappointed if it is not happening fast enough for you.
Step Two: How
As we move to the how, remember what was said in step one. You have to allow yourself time to accomplish your goal. This will not happen overnight and will take time and discipline to work.
If you are trying to purchase something, you will have to figure how much you need to save. If you are trying to drop a few pounds, take how much you want to lose and then determine how much and how often. After you have a solid figure to work with, you can start planning how much you need to put back or how much to lose. Set milestones during your planning stage. This will let you track your progress and keep you motivated. To see everything through, you will have to remain focused and disciplined. It may seem like a very slow process at first, but you have the whole year to make it happen. Don't get in too much of a hurry. Over time you will see the money build or the pounds drop.
You can use these steps for just about any goal you have set for yourself. No matter what your goals are, as long as you remain positive and focused you can make them happen.
