Dreamed about feeling my baby…

Dreamed about feeling a babyDream: I am 14 weeks pregnant, in the early morning today I dreamed about feeling my baby in my tummy (like moving baby inside) and when happily I am showing to my mom, sister, suddenly my sister felt afraid n went away all of a sudden my tummy got big as a 9 month pregnant lady n immediately in that moment I delivered a frog with a tiny baby … I woke up suddenly and the time was 6. I am so afraid because everyone says when you get a dream in the morning it would become true. Does this mean anything ??? Many questions in my mind…

DreamsMaster: No, just because you have a dream in the morning does not mean the dream will come true or should be taken literally. In fact, in a normal night’s sleep, we generally have a dream cycle approximately every 90 minutes, with the longest dream period occurring in the morning just before we wake up. This is why we tend to remember our morning dreams more than the ones that occur in the middle of the night.

So, instead of fearing the dream, take a look at what the dream could mean for you symbolically.

Here are a couple of questions to consider that might help you understand this dream…

– In the dream, your sister is afraid. In your waking world, does your sister tend to be overly anxious and fearing the worst in things? It’s possible she appears in your dream to represent this part of you that has underlying concerns about motherhood and the health of your child. It’s very natural to have anxiety mixed in with the joy of pregnancy, but sometimes we try to suppress uncomfortable emotions.

– In the dream, you delivered a frog with a tiny baby. The next question to ponder is, what does a frog represent to you personally? In the Indian culture, a frog often symbolizes reincarnation. In this context, the dream could represent an inner sense that your unborn child is being watched over by the spirit of a loved one. In Native American culture, a frog might represent fertility and prosperity. In this context, the dream could again be a positive symbol of a healthy pregnancy. What might a frog mean to you culturally or personally?

In summary, there is nothing to fear about this dream. In fact, it’s likely just the opposite. From my perspective, the dream appears to be your innermost self trying to ease your mind with reassurances that the life growing inside of you is safe and well protected.

Everything I want in a man…

everything I want in a manDream: I dream about a man who is everything I want in a man, very loving, caring, sweet. He has dark hair, beautiful blue eyes, tall. I feel so happy when I am with him in this dream. I’m with a man I’m not happy with in real life. Is this dream telling me to move on and maybe someone like this will enter my life?

DreamsMaster: Our dreams are gifts from our innermost selves. When we’re unhappy in our waking world, our dreams often provide balance by providing us with an experience of bliss.

Is the dream telling you to move on? Will someone like this enter your waking life? My guess is that these are questions you’ve been pondering quite a bit these days, and the dream is shining a light on your heart’s desire. It’s also quite possible the dream is your intuition telling you that indeed, this man is out there for you. On the other hand, the dream could be more symbolic than literal, in that the man could represent an aspect of yourself that you need to become more intimate with in order to find a deeper sense of happiness in your life. Which of these possible interpretations do you feel fits best for you?

If your gut is telling you this dream is your intuition, the next step is up to you. It takes a lot of courage to trade the known for the unknown, and you’re the only one that can determine the right course of action for you. Your dreams are key to knowing whether or not you’re on that right course, even if life delivers some growthful challenges along the way.

Warning from a dead friend…

Warning from a dead friendDream: In my dream I got a warning from a dead friend telling me to tell my brother to be careful. What does this mean?

DreamsMaster: Dreams have many layers of meaning, and I don’t rule out the possibility of spirits communicating to us through our dreams. Regardless if this message came directly from your dead friend or if this friend in the dream is symbolic, it’s quite possible that you intuitively sense your brother is in some type of risky situation, and the dream is sending you a message to take action to protect him.

On a symbolic level, your deceased friend could be a shadow figure, a part of you that may be somewhat hidden from yourself and that you’ve projected onto this friend. For example, in your waking world you may be reluctant to confront others, but this friend or shadow represents a side of you that has the courage and assertiveness to speak your mind. Think about how you would describe this friend, what personality traits you would ascribe to him or her. Then, consider how you identify with those traits personally, and this may help you understand why this particular friend has appeared in the dream. Warning your brother on behalf of this person could be a way of drawing courage of your own to approach him about a situation you perceive to be risky or threatening.

Your brother in the dream may be literal or symbolic as well. On a literal level, as mentioned previously you may be intuiting that your brother is indeed in a precarious situation that you feel the need to warn him about. If it doesn’t feel like it fits that your brother himself needs to be warned, then it’s possible your brother may be a symbolic representation of yourself or someone else in your life. Just as suggested you do with the friend, think about how you would describe your brother, and then consider where in your life you identify with him and may need to be cautious yourself.

Ex-husband’s girlfriend trying to kill me…

Ex-husband's girlfriend trying to kill me...Dream: I dreamed of my ex-husband’s girlfriend trying to kill me.

DreamsMaster: If you’re still in contact with your ex-husband and his girlfriend, the dream could be your intuition picking up on signs that she sees you as a threat and in fact may be trying to drive a wedge between your ex and you.

If you’re not in touch with the two of them, then the dream can be seen more symbolically. For example, the motive you project onto your ex-husband’s girlfriend might actually be your own subconscious desire to “kill” or eliminate that old relationship from your life. You may also be projecting your own subconscious rage onto the dream image of the girlfriend, allowing you to protect your image as the passive victim rather than an unacceptable image as the hostile aggressor.

Here are some questions to ask yourself, that may help point you in the right direction as far as what message the dream is trying to send to you:

  • Do you feel threatened by the relationship between your ex and his girlfriend?
  • Are you harboring resentment toward either or both of them?
  • Do you need to bury the past in order to move forward in your life?

Powerful lucid dream I had…

Lucid dreamDream: I just want to share with you the powerful lucid dream that I had several days ago. I am in a building with a lot of people. I ask the question, “What is my life purpose?” Suddenly I appear on the top floor of the building with walls around me and a ceiling above. The space is very small so I feel very cramped but there is no way out. I start to worry that my answer will not show up in this cramped space. But then I suddenly realize that all the walls and the ceiling is just my mental projection in my dream, so I try to push my hands through the ceiling. I feel some resistance but I quickly rip the ceiling apart. Suddenly I fly out to this amazingly beautiful scene – beautiful sunshine, blue sky, blue-green sparkling water surrounded by trees, white boats in the water, a sun deck sitting in the middle of the water where people are talking and having fun. Life is meant to be enjoyed! I continue to fly and see some dark clouds. The dark clouds feel dense and cold. I know that I have to fly through them. I realize that life has many challenges which are there for me to grow. Once I fly through the dark clouds, the scenery becomes beautiful again. But the boats in the water start to rise above the water into the sky. I know that I have to pull them back into the water, so I start to pull really hard on a rope to try to pull the boats back into the water. Some other people also come to help. I realize that life is about helping others, also working together with others. Another insight of my lucid dream is that most of time we are so stuck in our own mind, as represented by the cramped space, there is no way for us to see the truth of what life is really about!

DreamsMaster: Thank you for sharing this powerful lucid dream! I will post on Dreams.com for others to see, as this is a marvelous example of a lucid dream and the innermost lessons dreams of all sorts can provide.
